Each market has its own rules, owner and timeline. Tell us your markets in your request and we plan for them from day one.
UK and EU costs cover the Responsible Person, safety assessment and notification for one market, converted from 3 to 5 million KRW. Stability, challenge and claim testing, translation, packaging changes and annual RP renewal are extra.
Most launch delays start at the formula or the label. We catch them before you pay for production.
A formula that is legal in Korea can need changes for Europe. The EU now caps retinol at 0.3% retinol equivalent in face products, and fragrance allergen labeling expanded to about 80 allergens for new products from July 2026. We develop with your markets' rules from the first sample.
Required English copy, INCI list, Responsible Person details and warnings, laid out to spec. Korean typography can sit alongside it for authenticity.
CGMP / ISO 22716 certificates, INCI lists, MSDS / SDS and test reports. We ask for what your market needs before production, not when registration stalls.
We primarily match you with manufacturers already FDA facility-registered. If the best factory isn't, we handle registration before production, with the cost usually shared with the manufacturer.
| Situation | Typical timeline |
|---|---|
| All documents ready (ingredient data, CPSR, PIF complete) | About 2 weeks to 1 month |
| Standard project from scratch | About 2 to 6 months |
| Ingredient rework needed | 6 months to a year or more |
Our advice: formulate with ingredients that comply in both the UK and the EU, launch in one, and expand later. The second market is then mainly paperwork.
A US brand was told it was small-business exempt and skipped registration. Weeks later a sales channel demanded MoCRA listing documents before approving the products. Listing was still inside the 120-day window, so we registered the products fast and got them cleared before the launch slipped.
A London founder planning five products asked us, before paying anything, for a full roadmap and itemized budget: Responsible Person and notification, testing, packaging, freight, duties and VAT, and annual compliance. Seeing the whole bill first is exactly right for the UK.

Under MoCRA, cosmetics sold in the US must be listed with the FDA, and listing is due within 120 days of going to market. Small businesses under $1M in average annual US cosmetic sales may be exempt from facility registration and product listing, but marketplaces such as Amazon increasingly ask for MoCRA proof anyway, and adverse-event reporting, safety substantiation and labeling still apply.
No. The FDA does not charge for MoCRA registration or listing. You pay for the filing work, which through our network typically runs around $150 per product. A US Responsible Person, if you need one, is quoted separately.
Yes. Great Britain uses SCPN with a UK-based Responsible Person, and the EU uses CPNP with an EU-based Responsible Person. Northern Ireland follows EU rules. Selling in both means two Responsible Persons and two notifications.
Through an agency, the Responsible Person, safety assessment (CPSR) and notification typically run about $2,200 to $3,700 per product for one market, before testing, translation and packaging changes.
About 2 weeks to a month if every document is ready, 2 to 6 months from scratch, and longer if ingredients need rework. Planning the formula for your market from the first sample avoids most of the delay.
